Sadness is a Beggar
The sadness is a beggar.
If I show it, I give it a duty.
That's why I keep it deep inside.
In the deepest part of my being
The sadness is a beggar
It asks for you to go away, to wait for me far away, or to be in my bed at dawn.
If it surrenders, tears run that no longer know where to go.
And I give it a state that only I should endure.
And cause nothing in you.
It looks better this way, leaving with a smile.
Even if you understand that my feelings are antagonistic
Even if you understand that I have no feelings
Even if you understand nothing
I will ask you for nothing; I will beg for nothing.
It's impossible for me to ask you for something that needs to be given away.
Thiara Màtos.
